Position Overview

We are recruiting for a Data Engineer for an exciting mission that will be hands-on and working with the full data lifecycle – from exploratory data analysis to the upkeep of production data flows. The position will be working directly with the customer and end users to identify and refine requirements, develop data flows, and data models.

Responsibilities

• Ability to research and develop systems from the ground up
• Ability to troubleshoot systems
• Ability to work as a member of a team with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications

Familiarialy with any of the below technical capabilities: 

• Programming Languages: Python or Bash scripting
• Processing Tools: Elasticsearch or Spark, Nifi and/or Docker
• AWS Services: CloudFormation, EC2
• DevOps/Linux support
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjob
